From an early age it was evident that Damon was born with a gift. Damon began playing the drums at age 11 and quickly grew into an accomplished percussionist. In high demand, Damon toured with many different jazz and rock ensembles throughout the Midwest. In the midst of Damon’s blossoming career as a percussionist, he somehow found time to pick up the guitar. At age 13 Damon began playing the acoustic guitar, and soon after was writing his own music. Damon performed his first concert under the warm glow of his young friends battery powered handheld spotlights (otherwise known as flashlights) for a group of friends and family. From that moment on Damon knew right where he belonged.

Since these humble beginnings Damon has been hard at work developing his catalog of original songs in the studio and on the road. Damon’s emotionally charged live performances continue to inspire audiences with a fresh honesty that leaves you wanting more. His thought-provoking lyrics and smooth acoustic guitar rhythms will get you moving and put a smile on your face.
